Privacy

What we collect

• To fill an order: your name, shipping address, email, and what you bought. Stripe collects your payment details on its own secure page; we never see your card number.
• If you write to us: your email and whatever you tell us.
• If you join drop notes: your email address, used only for the occasional drop or peer-walk note. Unsubscribe any time by replying.

Who handles it

• Stripe (payments, receipts, tax calculation). Stripe's own privacy policy applies to the checkout page.
• Printful and any other Canadian print partner we use to make and ship printed-to-order pieces receive your name, address and order lines — enough to print and post it, nothing else.
• Canada Post or the carrier on the label gets your address for delivery.
• We don't sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Cookies and this device

• Your bag and your province pick are stored in your browser's local storage, not on our servers. Clear your browser data and they're gone.
• The store itself sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The admin area uses one session cookie for the shopkeeper only.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as Canadian tax and accounting rules require (generally six years), then deleted. Emails to support are kept while the conversation is open and for a reasonable time after.

Your choices

Ask us what we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete what we're not required to keep — email hello@steadymile.ca. Privacy requests go to [Steady Mile legal entity — set BUSINESS_LEGAL_NAME], Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada [street address — set BUSINESS_ADDRESS]. We follow Canada's federal privacy law (PIPEDA) and Nova Scotia rules as they apply to a small retailer.
