A dad who kept walking.

Phil Asplin didn't start Steady Mile with a business plan. He started walking so he could keep up with his kids, and kept at it — one walk, then another, for years. Nova Scotia has been home for the past six years; the shore roads and trails here are where he walks now, and what this gear is made for.

Fabric first

Named by weight, not by hype.

180 gsm cotton for the tee. 320 gsm brushed fleece for the hoodie. Terry underfoot in the socks. Every page says what the fabric is and how it washes, because that's what you'll actually want to know in November.

Tee, hoodie and hat are printed to order in Canada, so there's no warehouse of guesses. Socks and the sling are stocked here in Halifax and ship the next business day.
